Jessie Motsinger
With nearly 20 years of experience in human services, Jessie Motsinger is the Executive Vice President for Iris. Jessie has been with Iris since the company was just getting started. In her current role, Jessie is instrumental in running the day-to-day operations of Iris. With a deep commitment to fostering inclusive, high-performing workplace cultures, Jessie leads the company’s talent strategy, organizational development, and employee engagement initiatives. With a strong background in organizational management and process improvement, Jessie brings clarity, structure, and strategic foresight to the company’s administrative operations.
Over the years, Jessie has worn many hats at Iris. She was initially hired as the Marketing Director for the company’s first community in Edmond. With a versatile skill set and a firm commitment to the long-term vision of the company, Jessie contributed to the growth and evolution of many areas of the business, including marketing, operations, life enrichment, back office, accounting, and human resources. Having had exposure to so many aspects of the business, Jessie serves as a focal point and facilitator for the entire organization.
Jessie’s passion for elder care started at her first job after college, when she worked in geriatric education for the Donald W Reynolds Geriatric Education Center at University of Oklahoma. After that, she was an eldercare consultant for an EAP, where she assisted employees nationwide struggling with an elderly loved one. Later in her career, she was Admissions Director at a 140-bed skilled nursing facility and separately, a 50-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital, both of which achieved 100% occupancy for the first time.
Jessie has a Bachelor’s degree in Family Life Education – Gerontology from the University of Central Oklahoma and she is working towards a Master’s in Healthcare Administration at Oklahoma State University. Jessie won Caregiver of the Year for Team Member through the OK Assisted Living Association in 2019.
